Dual Screen Problem
Hi,
I got a Acer TravelMate 5720G Notebook which runs with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600. I use both Windows Vista and Linux. I used the Mobility Modder to install the newest drivers. I used Dual Screen in the past with a Fujitsu Siemens Computers Monitor and it worked perfectly. Now i tried to hook up my Toshiba 32C3005P LCD-Tv via DVI -> HDMI Cable to my Laptop. My TV was recognized as a Toshiba-TV, but there was no display on the TV, probably because of wrong resolution settings or something like that. Now comes the problem, by accident, i set up the TV to be used as the main Screen, while there still are wrong settings for the tv, so it doenst display anything. Now everytime as soon as i hook up my TV, my Notebook Screen goes into second screen mode and my TV becomes the Main Desktop. Because of the TV Not showing anything, i cant change that setting. By now i tried uninstalling all ati drivers and reinstalling them after a reboot, but the settings for my tv are still saved somewhere. Where can i access these settings and delete/ change them without hooking up the TV? |

Re: Dual Screen Problem
Ok, could solve that problem myself, i set a hotkey to swap display modes in the CCC :o.
But now the TV still doesnt work, CCC recognizes my Tv, but the signals dont seem to reach the TV the screen on the tv doesnt change at all, tried it with both HDMI Inputs on the tv and several resolutions/refresh rates. |
