Help pliz! HD 4650

Hello, I have a sony vaio VGN-FW 49, i'm very happy with it except for one little thing that ruin everything!
The laptop is built with a mobility radeon HD 4650 and it's impossible for me to play games. Whenever i play a game i have to make sure that graphics and resolution are not too high because if i don't, the game just stop after a few minutes (1 to 30 minutes) depending the game, a black screen appear, the computer just bug and i need to reboot manually, i can't go back on windows.
By the way, i'm running under vista 64 bits.
So i tried to use the Drive heaven mobility modder to instal the last catalyst software suite (vesrion 9.9) but things are just the same!

Please help me i don't know what to do anymore, vaio support doesn't know where it comes from and i'm really thinking about a refound... But it took me time to find a laptop that suits me so please, i need help...

I'm having a similar problem mate. Have you figured anything out yet or have you thrown your laptop out the window?
