I don't think saying this site sucks will get you a reply any quicker, it's much more likely I had to re-read the post twice before I even understood what you're asking, which is basically to overclock a card, that's in a laptop, The only ones I know that might do that are Rivatuner, AMDGPU tool, and ATI tray tools. If that doesn't work there may be something in that cards bios preventing it, I also assume there is no overdrive ability to overclock as well.

Re: Need help overclocking HD4570 on Asus X61SL laptop
Can you specify your problem somewhat more? Ie. the clocks aren't saved? The card is unstable? You get the clocks but no higher score?
Have you tried MSI afterburner? That's also a simple decent OC program for you graphics card ![]() Also remember that overclocking a Laptop graphics card isn't the best thing to do. They already get to hot in that little case and the performance increase isn't really high. And I think the OC subforum was a better place for this topic. I think not many people look here... :o |

Re: Need help overclocking HD4570 on Asus X61SL laptop
I totally missed this thread in the heap of new posts. A simple *bump* of your post would have sufficed in getting an answer, I'm sure. Gettin angry or rude doesn't give you answers quicker. Besides, this is one section of forum not many people go to...
In my opinion is overclocking a laptop a bad idea, because everything is already cramped together in there, and isn't build on dissipating the extra heat made from overclocking components. Not only is the possibility that you drastically shorten the lifespan of components, you also risk frying the whole thing. but if you must overclock, do so on your own risk.. It might serve to first uninstall all the overclock programs you tried and do a fresh install of drivers for the card (are you sure you got the right one?) Atitool should do the trick.. and if the problem persist, a little more data would increase the answers like bolletje said. Are clocks not saved, does the program not work at all etc.
