Need help with Inspiron 9100 and Windows 7

Hello there, new to signing up on the forums but have been browsing it for sometime now. I have a Dell Inspiron 9100, with upgraded RAM to 2GB and a 256MB Radeon 9800 video card. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 after much pressure from leaving my trusty Windows XP.

To get more to the point, everything had worked fine, except for problems with the Catalyst Control Center. I have had no problems with its gaming performance on the Dell Drivers alone, but I am unable to get the CCC to work at all. I have tried the Mobility Modder tool used here to try and get the Vista/Win 7 driver packages to install on here and all that happens is the CCC fails to work because it says the card isn't detected. Ive tried combination of the old dell drivers with new CCC, nothing seems to get it to function properly.

If anyone has any solutions to getting it to work, post here, thanks!

Are you doing fresh installs or upgrades? Also, try installing it through the update driver option.
