FireGL v5200 on Windows 7 - problem
Hi
First off all: I'm sorry for my English. I am an owner of HP NW8440 with built in ATI Mobility FireGL v5200 graphics card. I have a problem with Widows 7 32-bit system. When I change decreasing resolution from 19200x1200 to 1680x1050 or different, my screen is shrinking. If I want to play F.E.A.R. with more than 40fps on my laptop i have to use 1440x900 resolution - but on Windows 7 I get smaller imge On Windows XP and Vista everything works fine. Maybe there is some incompatibility between Mobility FireGL v5200 (X1600) and Windows 7 system. I've tried Catalyst 9.8 to 9.11 with Mobility Modder 1.2.1.0. Maybe someone had the same problem and fix it. If so, please help me. I like my Windows 7 more than Vista.

Re: FireGL v5200 on Windows 7 - problem
iPlayer thank you for your help. I was using CCC in Advanced View. In "Display Options" I had only
"Detect whenever CCC is opened" "Use manual detection only" "Force TV detection" "Force Component Video detection" There was no "Set it to Full Screen". But when I've change Advanced view to Basic view - in "Quick Settings" - "Notebook Panel Properties" I finally found "Resize the desktop to fir display panel. So thank you again for the help. If anyone have the same problem - simply change Advanced to "Basic View" |
