so im new to this site and computers as well.
im on a alienware m15x with a 3870. well i used mobility modder on the 10.2 drivers. uninstalled my driver and ccc, rebooted in safe mode and ran driver sweeper. rebooted again and installed the new driver. rebooted for the final time and now my resolution is wont go passed 1600x1200 and i cant even open up ccc. am i doing something wrong? i have never installed a new driver before cause alienwares site dosent go past 8.75 i think. any help on this would be greatly appreciated |

Re: Something is wrong
Can you do a system restore or something? Just because next month AMD is supposed to come with drivers that support notebooks, which will hopefully work with your system with no need for modding.

Try the 10.3 Preview drivers available over here....
8.71.3 Catalyst 10.3 Preview (Press Drivers) - Rage3D Discussion Area These, per some reports, already have mobility installation built-in. But, do keep in mind that they are PREVIEW drivers and there's no official support for them as yet. |

Re: Something is wrong
Yes just install 10.3. No mobility modder required.
No love for Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic laptops though... |
