Dell D600 ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 Windows 7
I just upgraded my old Dell D600 to Windows 7. Everything worked great, except I am stuck with the generic standard VGA driver. This is preventing my external VGA LCD screen from working. Everything worked just fine under Windows Vista. I did try the Function F-8 key combination.
Does anyone know how I can get the mobility 9000 driver or something comparable to work with Windows 7 on this old laptop of mine? I was going to use the ATI Mobility Modder program, but it does not list the Radeon 9000 for Vista/Windows 7. I have tried the Windows XP/2k driver from Dell, but of course it will not install. This is just a family used laptop for Internet browsing and nothing special, but the LCD monitor is necessary, so I would really like to get it working. Believe it or not, Windows 7 runs much better than Vista Sp2, did on this Dell D600. |

toshiba A75 -s211 uses the ati mobility radeon 9000 igp driver you can download it at toshiba support under the modle I just mentioned. do not install the exe. go to windows device manager and undate the driver after expanding the exe. you will find a folder named driver and the inf iss in there. I have been usindg it sucssesfully for many win 7 installs
