Memory speed loss on ati 5650

I uninstalled my sony ati ccc and installed the latest v10.4 ( for toshiba, panasonic & sony ) ccc and when I check the memory speed of my gpu it shows 790 MHz. Why is this so when previously it was showing 800 MHz.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Memory speed loss on ati 5650

They probably decided on underclocking them a bit for whatever reason in that driver release, or it could just be a mistake.

You could manually set them to the previous value with the overdrive function, if you feel inclined to.

My CCC don't seems to have the overdrive function which is kind of weird. Is it a seperate utility ?
