step is change 3 files like CX100944.XXX to CX_100944.XXX

Great man, thanks alot, I love you!!

Same same with ATI Catalyst Suite 10.7. I did not get this folder to be modded, unless I used your hint and changed the filenames with underscore. Great work!!

Best regards

After changing the name of the files, modding them and then renaming them, I cannot install the display drivers. The ATI installer manages to install CCC, but then it says that the drivers are not signed.

I have a Dell Studio 1555 XP 32 bits, with and ATI Mobility Radeon 4570.

For me the drivers did not work automatically after installation, too. In logfile it was written, they were not signed. So the way is, to let installation of Catalyst 10.7 finish, then go to System--> Hardware --> device manager, choose your graphic card and select driver installation from there. You manually choose the path of C:\ATI\Support\10-7_xp32_dd_ccc_enu\Packages\Drivers\Display\XP_INF. When asked for confirmation of installing unsigned drivers, say YES. Then it will install the new drivers. After reboot, you can check the Catalyst Control Center. Your driver has been updated.

Cheers

yeah, it *seems* to work but OPENGL drivers didn't install doing this manually only the common 2d and 3d driver, this is really sad....

thanks!!

ps: just open googleearth in opengl mode it runs extremely slow, because only the standard xp driver is currently installed, please some one tell us how install opengl!
