Radeon x1200 Driver issue?
![]() I have a Laptop, Toshibia Satellite A305D. 2.2 Dual Core AMD processor 3GB RAM 300GB HDD Windows 7 32 bit Radeon x1200 motherboard video card I play World of Warcraft. The game has been running great for me at around 30-40 FPS. Recently it's crapped out to 5-10 FPS tops. My internet connection is fine, and I know it's not the game itself. My brother is running the game at about 30FPS on a worse computer then me. I've been searching for hours trying to find the problem with my computer. The only thing I'm able to come across is my video card. Every person I have talked to is saying that because I now have windows 7, it just took some time for my video card to crap out. I checked the toshibia website, and AMD website, found nothing. The latest driver I have for my x1200 is from 2008, and I'm unable to find a update. I'm at my wits end and close to throwing the laptop out the window. Any help to this situation would be greatly appericated, thanks. Last edited by James867; Jan 5, 2011 at 05:47 AM. |

Re: Radeon x1200 Driver issue?
It's not clear whether the performance dropped after some time of using Windows 7, or if it was that way to begin with.
Have you tried using the Legacy Drivers from AMD's website? |
