Mobility Radeon 9000 - burned and dead two times !!!

Argh ! In Feb 2005 my Mobility Radeon 9000 burned away. But i don't know why. Maybe it is because of a new omega driver or it is a bug in one of the brand new 3d engines i used.

At first i saw artifacts only in 3d games, green stripes arranged in a grid. And one day later i only see some ascii alphabet on a black screen after a reboot.

I gave my laptop away for a repair. Two weeks later it comes back and everything gone fine. Until today.

I start the same 3d game like before. And bang. The same green stripes as two month before.

So did any body know a way, how a graphic card could be burned by software? Is it possible to overwrite the GPU bios by a bugy Pixel & vertexshader? Has anyone a BIOS for my card? I would like to give them a shoot to rewrite my graphiccard BIOS.
