Mobility m6 on a gateway 400sd4
Hello friends, I wanted to know if you guys knew of a way that I could update the drivers on my gateway 400sd4 laptop. I have tried getting drivers from ATI, but I guess since the cards built into the laptop, they dont really support it,....And although I love my laptop,....I'm unhappy with Gateways support. They have seriously gone downhill in a big way,...but thats another tread all together!
My current drivers are as follows; ATI Mobility M6 32mb DDR Driver date; 9-11-2002 Driver Version; 6.13.10.6178 Running on a Gateway 400sd4 laptop Pentium 4 2.6 GHz 512mb DDR SDRAM Thanks for any advice offered, and Im very glad I found this site, it seems like it will be a great place to find answers to most questions. exgi |

Hi Patje, thanks for taking the time to repond.
I did'ent see the M6 on the list of supported cards,... heres the list you pointed me to; Radeon Mobility 9600 - Radeon Mobility 9700 - Radeon Mobility 9800 - Mobility Fire GL 9000 - Radeon Mobility 9000 - Radeon Mobility 9200 - Radeon Mobility - Radeon Mobility 7500 - Radeon Mobility 7800 GL - Radeon Mobility IGP 320M, 340M, 345M - Radeon Mobility FIRE GL T2 - Radeon Mobility X300, X600, X700, X800 - Radeon Mobility IGP 9000/9100 - Radeon Mobility IGP 7000 Is the M6 one of these? and if so, just for my information.... which one is it? the M6 is the Radeon Mobility , which is in the list, not that very clear i know, my fault hehe
