Mobility 9200 and Maya

Has anyone successfully made Maya 6.5 work with a Mobility Radeon 9200? When I try to start Maya, I get a message saying "Fatal Error. Attempting to save...". I'm currently using a Windows XP Pro SP2 with 1gig of ram and a Radeon 9200 on Omega Drivers.

hi there. i own the same video card. but havent played maya.

jsut want to ask u, how do u find the vga card? and another thing, wats ur score in aquamark or 3dmark2001 se?

does the 1 gig of ram helps improve the performance?

are u using cat 5.7

Havn't even used Maya myself, but there is an online community of creative proffessionals at http://www.creativecow.net and there is some very helpful members who regularly reply to questions.

The only thing is I assume you didn't actually *** for that otherwise you could go direct to Alias for support....

Check that site out anyway, there is some free tutorials and advice on a wide range of apps..

Alias's suggestion: Don't use omega drivers.

Thats why you go seek Omega's help, its a problem with the omega drivers, not Maya.
