GTA SA MOBILITY 9700 Problems!

Hello all, I have an acer aspire with Ati Mobility Radeon 9700 64MB, 256 MB SDRAM and winxp media center
I have installed Radeon Omega Drivers 2.6.42 (Catalyst 5.6) and tested them with the new game GTA san andreas.
I have tried the lowest details but the game after few minutes become very slow and then crashed.
How can I do to resolve this problem?
