Sad Installing Mobility Radeon 9000 drivers problem

Hi folks:

I'm new on this forum so please don't be so hard if my question is stupid. My problem is this:

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D 7820 Laptop with an Ati Mobility Radeon 9000 (M9) with 64 MB of dedicated memory. This graphic card is running ok using drivers from a Mobility Radeon 9600 (exactly the ati2dvag 6.14.10.6375) that I had to install because some problems with Half Life 2 graphics performance. The problems with HL2 solved and the graphic card worked great. But now I know that this drivers are obsolete and want to update them (tried to play Counter Strike source and have many graphics crashes). I've tried to install some I found on some web sites, but when they are installing there are errors (it says, for example, that don't find nothing to update or that don't find the .inf file) and the installer suggest to install a generic vga driver and then install the latest version of the new ones, prior uninstalling the installed drivers.

I know it's a little confusing, but if someone can tell me what are the latest and best drivers to install, and a step to step to do it (to avoid errors) I will thank you in advance for your help so much.

Please help. Thanks again.

Greets from Spain.
