Help!!!!!!!!

Hi, im new here so be gentle

I tried to install the Omega Driver 2.6.42 (Catalyst 5.6) but something went wrong (dont know

about drivers), the thing is that now my screen is all slow and the resolution is crappy i cant even go to standby mode and i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by the way i have an ATI Radeon Mobility 9600/9700 (sic.) 128Mb graphics card and a toshiba satellite p30
i unistalled the omega drivers (i think) but still the same
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Uninstall the drivers from control panel, uninstall the driver from device manager if its still there, re-detect the video card and specify a generic vga driver. Download driver cleaner and run it, reboot. Re-install your video driver.
