MR9700 issue

Am I the only one having this problem?
I can use any Catalyst drivers up to the 4.12 (modded with the DH Mod Tool 2.2) but if I try with the 5.1 or higher, I get a blank screen when I try to play games 1 out of every 3 tries. I have to completely restart my laptop (Ferrari 3200) to do anything else.
Any ideas? Cause I want to use the newer drivers.
