Problem with newest Omega ati drivers

I have compaq nx7000 with 9200 mobility radeon.

I tried to install the newest omega radeon drivers but I have problems 'cause my screen is flashing and zipping and it is all f... up.

Any help ?

its not an omega issue. its a catalyst 5.7 issue which the latest omegas are based on. there is no solution right now. youll need to use modded catalyst 5.6 or omegas based on 5.6

Thx , I have one more question , can I use newest catalyst 5.8 with that program "mobillity modder".

i'm very new to this driver tweaking. so i tried to follow the instruction on the forum but somewhere along the line i ended messing up. so if someone can give me a step-by-step(if possible links of where i could get some of the needed installations) instruction on how to do this, it would be really great. i have a compaq nx7000 with 9200
