Page Flipping Please Help

I just installed the 5.8 mobility drivers on my gateway laptop

I have the 9600 radeon with 64 mb ram which runs all the newest games just fine.

I noticed now after installing the new drivers, when I open a web page that the pages seem to jerk rather then scroll smoothly.

any ideas??

The system is not overclocked and the temp is fine.
