Graphics Problem

During Games (Battlefield 2, Neverwinter Nights, Splinter Cell 3) I get a screen flickers after maybe 20 minutes of playing, that get progressively worse, to the point where my screen is black more often than not. I don't believe it's a heat issue, because I used to (several drivers ago) play without a hitch.

I'm running a Radeon 9600 Mobility, 3ghz Athalon 64, 1gb ram, XP service pack 2.
