Radeon 9000 and 1280x720 on 2nd display

hello,

I just tried driver V. 2.6.71 and trying to set up 1280x720 (HDTV) resolution on the notebook's built-in external VGA port.
I's working well, the image is sharp, but is flickering.

My notebook is a Toshiba Tecra S1 with Rageon 9000.

Does anybody have an idea?
