laptop Temporal AA setting
I have the latest Omegadriver 10.a and of course the ATT tool. I have a laptop computer whose screen refresh rate will never be over 60. In the 3D and GL settings, there is a choice under Temporal AA.....Multiplier ( which is set at 2x by default ) and Manual is set at 60.
Should I lower the frame rate threshold from 60 ? Since I cant get more than a 60 refresh rate on my screen? I have vertical sync set at default off. I have a ATI X600 128mb Mobility card...Pent4 3.2gh..7200rpm hd Thank you very much. I appreciate your efforts. Last edited by stumped2; Nov 5, 2005 at 09:52 AM. |

I have the vertical sync set to 'default off'...application preference in otherwords. Regardless, I heard back from Ray Adams on the ATT forum. His answer was Yes. I should lower it to about 30.

Well if Vsync is off your FPS is not capped so as long as its above 60 you get the TAA.

TAA forces VSync to ON, since that's how it works - rendering alternate frames AA/no-AA. Otherwise, I believe Ray Adams is correct - set threshold to 30, and turn VSync ON.
