ATI M-9700 PRO 256 Core/Mem clock
I was wondering if there is somthing wrong if my Core/Mem clock speed are set lower than default. - it shows 270/228 seems too low for me..
but it plays doom 3/ HL2/ WoW.. flawless...

A Mobility 9700 (?) should be 450/260 stock - but the manufacturer of your laptop might have good reason...
What program you using to check with?

Is PowerPlay enabled? If it is, it may be scaling the GPU back when not plugged in. Otherwise, try disabling it, and see if it helps.
