Please assist with T42 and Dell 2405FPW Monitor

Hello,

I have a T42 with a Mobility Raedon 7500 video card.

Product: ThinkPad T42 2374-4WU [change]
Operating system: Windows XP [change]

Original description: P M 735, 512MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 32MB ATI Radeon 7500, 24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11b wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, 6 cell Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro

Utilizing my docking station, I am hooking up the monitor via DVI.

I loaded the newest IBM drivers and was able to obtain the 1920 x 1200 resolution however there is a virtual desktop problem, where the desktop size is larger than the screen size.

Should I install a certain Omega driver or use ? Remove this Raedon driver (Driver date 2/13/03)? Update the IBM driver?

Is there a hack?

Because this is using a company laptop, can someone please provide detailed instructions as I don't want to run into an issues and have to do any sort of reinstall/reformat.
