Mod FireGL to x600?

I'm getting a new T43p soon, and was wondering if there was a way to mod the FireGL V3200 to the x600 (I think this is its parallel). I am getting the T43p regardless, but was hoping for some gaming on the road and at home. I saw that you can mod Radeon cards to FireGl, can it be reversed? If I don't will I be stuck for games with the V3200? Thanks!
