stutter problems with 9700 mobility

[color=#000000]I’m having problems with my computer. Every time I try and play games such as Joint opps, Call of duty or Black hawk down I get a stuttering problem. It’s so bad that you just can’t play the game. I’ve tried uninstalling everything and on my laptop by using the recovery disk and have then only installed the bare minimum of software. However this did not improve or cure the problem.[/color]

[color=#000000]Any ideas anyone?[/color]

[color=#000000]Here is the spec of my laptop[/color]

[color=#000000]Acer Travelmate 4501Lci [/color]

[color=#000000]Intel Pentium M 715 processor[/color]

[color=#000000]1.5GHz, 400MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache[/color]

[color=#000000]ATI mobility radeon 9700/64MB[/color]

[color=#000000]40 GB HDD[/color]

[color=#000000]512 MB DDR[/color]

[color=#000000]P.S. I’m partially o.k. with computers but once the use of complex computer jargon comes in to it, then I’m useless[/color]
