Odd Fps when playing fifa 06

Hi. Ive got a weird problem. Hope u guys can help. Ive got a Amilo 1630 laptop with
a 9700 mobility 128mb. Its been working great, no problems with most games. But when i recently installed fifa 06 i had this problrm with the game running really really fast. (at 60 fps). Why would this be? Im running with omega 2.6.75a.

please help.
