MR 9000 32MB Increase Memory?

I've searched for a way to increase the 32MB to at least 64MB of video memory, but there is no option for it in properties and in the BIOS the only things I can change are the date and boot setup!

I have a :
Dell Latitude D600
Intel Pentium M 1.6ghz w/ Centrino
512MB Ram
Ati Mobility radeon 9000 32mb (Latests Omegas)
40gb Hdd
WinXp Pro SP2

Is this an issue with the dell laptops that you cannot edit things in the bios(I alreayd upgraded to latest BIOS)? has anybody managed to increase their video memory on a D600?
