Page file HELP plz!

Was not shore were to post this,

I have 2 gigs of ram and an fx53 what should my Virtual memory(Paging file) be set to?
I read to set it double the amount of your ram so I set to 4000 is this right or to high?

That's unnecessarily high, but there's no problem with setting it high either. Unless you are running some very special programs that draws a lot of RAM then you'll be fine with the standard automatical setting in WinXP. I've set mine at just 128MB with 2GB RAM since I know that this system doesn't need more with what I run on it, but I'd definitely recommend the default automatic setting in general because it's good enough and problem free when a system has an ample amount of RAM.

with 2gb of ram I would set it to 1024mb.. Until I upgrade I have 1GB of ram and I use a 1.5GB PF..

I use a 1.5GB PF for 1GB of ram, 512 for my 512MB system, for my 320MB server I have 2.5GB (just in case it doesn't use much RAM)
