Can I put PC3000 or PC3200 on MSI 845PE Max2-FIR??

I currently have a single stick of 512MB PC2700 (DDR333) memory installed on my new MSI 845PE Max2-FIR Mobo. I've heard from many sites that in order to successfully overclock your computer, you'll need quality RAM that's fast and stable. Those people, I see, are installing memory like PC3000 & PC3200.

Can I install PC3000 or PC3200 memory on my motherboard? According to the manual, my board is designed for DDR266 & DDR333. I would sure like to put faster memory in order boost memory bandwidth performance.

You can definitely use any high quality ram you want; even PC3700 if you wish. But just dropping it in would do nothing for performance. People use this kind of memory because they overclock and it gives them more headroom. If you do not want to overclock, then this memory is useless to you. I'm not sure how intel boards work, but I think you can still OC the memory without OC'ing the fsb just by changing the fsb/mem ratio.
