Sad PhoenixBIOS D686 on MS-6534 motherboard (Pentium 4) - need help please!!!

My sister has a Medion Pentium 4 with a MS-6534 motherboard, the BIOS appears to be corrupted as it boots to the Award BootBlock screen and reads "Detecting floppy drive A media".

Can anyone help?

I am assuming i will need a boot disk with the Award flash utility and new BIOS image?

Where can I get these? I'm really stuck.

Looks like this one can only be located via the Medion home (German) site... wonder if the BIOS is in German.

Unpack it to a boot floppy, and try offering it, maybe it will be usable as a refresh / update if the BIOS has been corrupted, as it appears the bootblock procedure is looking for a BIOS floppy

Hi again.

Re: the bios rom checksum error, i downloaded the motherboard bios update file and flashed the bios, worked 100%. Feeling quite chuffed with myself since this was the first bios flash i did.
