Syndicates, I could view without being a member, but I couldn't with yours kris and had to register. Then I tested the public wishlist thing and was not able to make a public wishlist. I tried tickin' the share box and saving but my wishlist did not go public. How's it work Syn?

i kinda cheat cause the system takes a while to generate the public list.

so what I do is create it, click share, go to the wishlist in my list which still shows as a MyWishList.. copy the id number at the end, go to any public list, and paste in my id, copy the whole link, and put it here. Seems to work fine like that.

so basically, i add stuff to temp wishlist, create a new private one, make it shared, then copy the actual link to any list in the public wishlist section, put the id number of mine at the end and voila.

The motherboard seems fine the M2F along with a Q9300 or higher with the Flex memory and the 4870 Vidcard, I will recycle the harddrives for now along with my CD/DVD player and replace the old case with the 1200. I also keep the PSU unless the it fails after a couple weeks running the monster vidcard. And the cooler master heatsink that was recommended in one of the wishlist is good for when I was to OC the cpu?

Be really careful with your thinking on the PSU. I specifically asked (post #16) which PSU you have and for further details regarding your PSU, but you didn't reply. To say you'll keep it unless it fails could be extremely costly. If it were to fail, there is a chance it could take all your components (new and old) with it to the grave. Think about this carefully. My advice would be to consider an upgrade now. Or at least calculate what power you require, and what your current PSU can output. Remember, your currrent PSU output will have dropped, maybe quite significantly, since you first purcdhased it due to the ageing of capacitors.

I had it in my profile its a Seasonic m12 700w.. I'm thinking its enough but this is my first time with this brand I usually have antec PSU's. I had a Antec truepower 480w that I thought was burning out but it was the motherboard. By this time I already bought a new PSU until I found the real problem one of the black little chips on the Asus P4C800 deluxe burned right through. Never tried that calculator for power draw I'll check into it.

Seasonic is known for making some of the best PSUs here on DH, you should be fine with the PSU for now.

Am I going mad? Did you have a spec profile at the beginning of this thread? I think that's what threw me out. Apologies man. I never noticed that.

Edit: And yeah, the Seasonic (an excellent manufacturer btw) should have more than enough power even when taking into account ageing. Only thing I'm not 100% on is the current @ 18A per rail. I haven't a clue how much minimum amps ATI specify on their new cards (4870x2). I bet you kris does though, and he'll be along shortly to confirm. He has all this stuff memorised lol.

BTW, I forgot yesterday, even I thought it, to recommend the Auzentech Prelude 7.1 soundcard as an alternative to your Creative or Asus. The Auzentech is easily the best damned sound I've ever had from a pc. Getting pretty close to Hi-Fidelity sound. And the chips are upgradeable too!!! You just swap 'em out.

No i didn't have one at the beginning I added it after to make it easy for everyone.. your not going mad.

Auzentech Prelude. I think I remember people saying good things about it.. I will check that out also. Upgradable I like that, other soundcards should do that from the get go.

*addon* I read up on the auzentech and it seems people are complaining of the quality of the drivers and the price of the card itself. They do say it has good sound.
