Need MB input for new system

Ok so i have narrowed down my new motherboard to the following 2 choices:

Newegg.com - ASUS P5E Deluxe LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.com - ASUS Maximus II Formula LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

I am partial to Asus as i have had Asus forever and love their support.

I am having a hard time choosing between X48 and P45 chipsets.

The rest of the system will be:
2 x Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100242TXSR Radeon Toxic HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

For crossfire you should get the X48. The X48 would crossfire with both channels at x16 whereas the P45 would be crossfired at x8. The P45 Maixumus II Formula would bottleneck your crossfire performance. Simple choice I think. Go with the P5E deluxe.

Edit: Nice system you've gone for. You chose a good psu upgrade

Erm...so are you getting the X48???
