You can try to overburn with nero or a program of the such. Back in the day I purchased 780mb cds. My cd writer claimed it could do 90min cds (plextor 12/10/32a) and it couldn't without a firmware downgrade. BUT, plextor yanked that version of the firmware as it could copy all sectors of SafeDisc 2 copy protection. So all in all, I never got my 780mb cdrs to burn fully. So it'll be partially dependant upon your cdr drive.

You tried to overburn in nero? If that didn't work then try Padus DiscJuggler.... I've had like 500% better success with Disc Juggler with overburning than Nero. Nero is a bitch with overburning to me.

You can try file sharing programs to find the demo of it... I dunno where to get it. Just google it.

Using Nero you can "Simulate" burning, which means that you can "test" if your overburn is going to work without wasting a CD or risking damage to your burner. You have to set up the overburn in Nero though. And dont use the wizard...

A 99min overburning guide using NERO One thing to note - it appears that 90/99 minute "overburn required" media is being discontinued by many brands in favour of 92 minute "no overburn" media - however, specifying longer than 79:59:74 as the actual length breaks the standards in yet another way, so drive compatibility may not actually be improved. |
