First of all, have you installed the latest BIOS for the board? Also, the motherboard drivers?

You can check against what's available here:

BIOSTAR

Now, how do you get around the jumper problem? Are you positive that you're putting the jumper onto the pins properly? Make sure your view is oriented to the view within the manual. (You can also download an updated manual from that link and you need to make sure there wasn't an error printed in the current one you have in front of you.)

Does that board use Award BIOS, or Phoenix, or what? I didn't see that information during a quick glance at the site.

Pissed Re: Questions about biostar g31-m7 te

well i swapeed out the board for the same one to replace it and the jumper probs went away. Now it uses and AMI award bios. its updated to the latest version. Th eproblems i have now are mainly the ram timing i set. I'm trying to get my ram to go 1:1 when it comes to FSB:RAM divider i have 2GB of crucial 667 memory that can run at 200MHZ . I cant seem to ge t it down to it.
