BIOS update causing CPU temp rise.

Last night I updated BIOS on my M3A79-T to the latest version. I had the first original version on the motherboard before that.

Noticed some fixes that improved the handling but one strange effect was that the CPU temp went up with 2 degrees. Very annoying since the temps were high enough already. How can this be, what has changed that I can't see in the settings and when I check with CPU-Z and other software. Voltages are all the same, frequencies as well.

Re: BIOS update causing CPU temp rise.

it could be a fix on the BIOS that makes it read the temps more precisely... it's probably nothing to worry about...

or it could be a new bug that adds a couple of degrees in the CPU temp meter...

if the voltages and frequencies are all the same, then there is probably nothing to worry about.
