USB Flash Drive in PS2 to USB adapter.
Y'know those adapters you plug into PS2 and you can plug a USB keyboard into?
Well...I have an old laptop that has no USB, (sounds like a lost cause, but it works) Anyway, I tried one of those adapters and for some reason, though a keyboard will work with it, (and possibly a mouse), a flash drive will not, assistance?

No, it won't work. PS2 ports are ment for mouse and keyboard, nothing else. Those ports doesn't have the bandwidth for anything else. That adapters are not real USB ports either.
However, I'm sure you can find a cheap PCI USB card somewhere. They don't cost much really. In some places they seem to almost throw them at you when you go into a store.

Re: USB Flash Drive in PS2 to USB adapter.
For a laptop, it would need to be PCMCIA to USB, if it has a PCMCIA slot.
The mouse adapter is for Combo devices only, which can switch to working with the PS/2 signalling and protocols.
