Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG UPDATE PLEASE

My motherborad details Are:

Motherboard Model: Chaintech 9LIF3
Motherboard Chipset: Intel 845GL (Brookdale-GL) + ICH4
Motherboard Slots: 4xPCI
BIOS Manufacturer: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
BIOS Date: 02/11/03
BIOS Version: 6.00 PG
Super-IO/LPC Chip: ITE IT8712F, Rev G
System : Windows Xp Professional SP2

P.S : i had a processer 1.70Ghz Cache 128 ram 512 but i upgraded it to 2.45GHZ and ram 1 GB now

so i want to update my BIOS

Dude, this is an old board, and here you can download the latest bios. It's dated 2007-04-12 so it's 4 years newer than the bios version you are using now.

Yo , thanx man for your help really but there is one stupid question i downloaded the file it has *.BIN files how do i use them to upgrade my BIOS ?

Boot into dos (with the help of a Windows 98 boot cd for example. You can find it here).

Download the phlash utility and run it:

phlash <name of .bin file>
