A guy on another forum pointed me to a review of the board over at Bit Tech - Intel Xeon W5580: Nehalem EP and on Page 3 it states that the Supermicro board doesn't support Sli so me being me decided to give it a go myself and low and behold they were right (no suprise really)

Don't laugh, GTX7800's are the only Sli cards i had available.

Well, i installed them and tried various drivers but i'm sorry to say there is no Sli option available in the nVidia control panel even though both cards are seen in Device Manager and reported to be working correctly.

I can only hope there will be a BIOS upgrade at some point like Intel did with the Skulltrail but not even sure if its even possible so my question is - does anyone know if it is and if they will??
