Hi. My motherboard has three DIMM slots - two blue and one black. Can anyone tell me which two slots I must use to utilise the dual-channel feature of my motherboard? It's an Asus A7N8X Deluxe.
Also, is there anyway I can tell if I'm using the dual channel mode or not? |

Put them in the blue slots.
Download the latest BIOS for your motherboard (if you already haven't), once you've flashed the BIOS, access it by pressing 'del' at the POST screen. In the BIOS under advanced chipset settings, set the memory speed from by SPD to 100%. Restart when done and at the POST screen it should say 'dual channel mode'. |
