your BIOS is probably not the reason why your computer's performance has dropped down...

Haha , xD. I know that my specs are terrible but until I can afford something new im kinda stuck with it. ;p Any idea's at all?

not at all, your specs are fine... i wish i had that rig a year ago... LOL

it's probably your OS that's slow... Windows tends to do that after a while... LOL

a clean install of WinXP would probably solve the problem...

Thanks mate , I dont think a format will happen As mostly the HDD has avi files , demo files from games. I was making a frag movie and my pc just became uber slow. I use Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup regularly. The report i get from VolumeC.txt a recent one.
Well it looks awfull lol. It maybe just the HDD on its way out , the pc is old had this now almost 8 years with a few upgrades here and their.

try Knoppix, it's a mini Linux bootable from a CD, you can delete only the system folders of XP (like C:\Wondows, C:\Program Files, etc...) and leave your .avi files intacted...

you can also backup your data with it to some other folder, or other patition...

If the slowdown was sudden and unexpected I would also suggest checking for virus/worm/spyware since it could also be a possible cause of a system slowdown.

Also don't forget to tune it, I think you can still find the driverheaven 1.5 tuner somewhere.

I do monitor Virus / Spyware threats it seems i have a few but not of any problem since they're in black list / virus vault But thanks again for the information.
