Need Audio Driver for Dell Dimension E510
trying to find a modem and audio driver for this POS [H]ELL Dimension E510 computer

the driver download link Dell provides is an application downloader which then allows you to download the file(s) you are wanting to download. thing is, that POS application DOESN'T WORK!!!!!

Drivers & Downloads

Does anybody know where else besides Dell's crappy website I can get the driver from?

i've googled sigmatel to see if i can get the driver from their website, but it turns out that they don't have a website. i found out that they were bought out back in 2008 by another semiconductor company and that they don't have any of the "old" sigmatel drivers available for download.

I also need the conextant modem driver from there as well, but that's not as big an issue as the audio driver is.

nope. same thing happens. it's also the same page i've been going to on Dell's website.

the download happens. i get a 9.3KB application file. i run the application file to download the driver, but it just errors out.

i just want the full .exe driver file i'm supposed to get from Dell. not the tacky 9.3KB application downloader file to download the driver.
