Could not manage some questions about ram, cuz im actually my nick)).
Currently building up a new system, but confused with ram types. Ive already googled for all that un/bufferred, un/registered, ECC, but nothing cleared for me, except that they are incompatible with each other. Im going to buy Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P, or GA-MA790FXT-UD5P and for a start 1333 2X4G ram. But there is no information on vendor site which ram to use. Should that mean i need plain unbufferred unregistered non-ECC? or what?
any advice appreciated

yeah most of the stores in Russia you should be able to find DDR3 as unbuffered and without ECC. There are a lot of different kits from different vendors so you have plenty of choice of the kits.

well, today it's possible to find almost everything. but what about compatibility? (motherboards above)

Gigabyte's site has an approved module list for those boards with brand and module number, you may need to cross-reference that module number at the memory makers site to find which kits it's used in.

I know that CORSAIR has a "memory" finder" on their site. You can find it on their home page.

Plugging in your mainboard it comes back with:
Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P Memory Upgrades - Guaranteed Compatible Memory for your Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P from Corsair

I would assume that the other manufactures have somethig similiar, but can't gaurantee it, since I never use anything except Corsair RAM.
