Geting a soundcard

Hi,

I want to buy a decent soundcard with MIDI out and in.
The budget is around 120-130$.
What can you recommend ?

Try this: Newegg.com - M-AUDIO MIDISPORT 1x1 1-In-1-Out USB Bus-Powered MIDI Interface

I don't know of any sound cards off the top of my head with midi out or in, but this should do the trick for you.

what's it for ?

if a USB interface card is what you're after then i can't recommend Tascam US-122 mark2 highly enough, use one myself for my laptop and they're fabulous wee boxes

Re: Geting a soundcard

Well.... the E-mu 1212M pci or pci-x would fit the bill but I think they may be out of your budget unless you can find one on sale somewhere. $160 seems to be the running price for the PCI-E version. Although an interface card would likely be cheaper.. But it depends on what you want it for.

Re: Geting a soundcard

Thx for recommendation...I found a E-MU 1212M with 120 euros...
I should get some dollars and buy this because I want a decent audio quality. With this integrated C-Media AC97 it's impossible to make some mastering and mixing..
