Nforce2 Board..
ASUS, Epox or...A-Bit. Hop over to some review sites. Those are top 3 contenders me-thinks. I personally adore the Asus A7N8X-Deluxe despite the fact I had a problem with it when installing my first AMD rig.

So what do you think of the Gigabyte GA-7NNXP nForce2 Ultra Athlon Board?
I am a BIG overclocker and so my main focus is just that.

I think the biggest overclocker's boards are the Abit NF7/NF7-S , and the Epox 8RDA/8RDA+. I've not heard much about the Gugabyte board

Abit
I haven't read much about the Gigabyte board. However the Abit NF7-S blows away my Asus A7N8X dx . The v2 board configured my 2500 to 3100@200X11 upon first boot , first thing I did was flash the bios to the latest.
Also you'll have access to all multipliers without having to mod the chip

I surrender Neon_Cowboy
![]() Don't get me wrong I really like the Asus board..as a matter of fact my daughter's about to get one serious upgrade... my Asus A7N8x dx & XP2600 as well as an Ati Radeon 9700 pro and 512 megs Corsair XMS 2700ddr I never tried the Barton on my Asus board, even using the Uber bios I was unable to change the multiplier for my 2600 it was completely locked. If I set it to 13 it refused to post , anything lower and it would way underclock the cpu and I'd wind up running it as an 1100 or less Anyways mitchelson, bottom line is just about any Rev 2 NForce board you get is going to rock!
