Cooler Master CPU Fan

I'm trying to use a Antec Plus 1080 but the CM fan facing towards the hard drives makes it impossible to add my hard drives because the one cage is being blocked by the CM fan... So can I remove and reinstall the fan or do I need a new case ??

Are you talking about the cpu cooler with its fan is in the way? If so remove the cpu cooler.......or that fan bottom front ....................

hm I guess I will need a new case -_-...
If I swap the cpu fan then what I get is nothing pulling the air from the front of the case and three fans (there's two 80mms in the rear area and then the CM fan) pushing out.

I dont have a fan at the front i dont believe in em. I have one up the top as an exaust as hot air risers . A pic would be good

Ah.. the Antec case that wasn't theirs. I say that because it was a rebranded Chieftec Dragon.

In any case (pun not intended) there's not much you can do about the drive bays as they only come out one way... that is unless you dremmel out the flap (the one that has the side screw in it). Doing that you could undo the lever holding the cage in, slide it bit towards the back, then sideways. I did that with my buddies case, and it worked perfectly (I just upgrade his entire system using that case, and ran into a similar issue with the bottom bay, and his video card).
