Gigabyte GA-7n400 pro

Got a new GA-7n400 pro M/B, but i can't get the lan to connect to the internet.
Tried a different machine on the same dsl modem and connection, it works fine,
tried to enter machine # in bios, but it tells me it is an invalid #,

any ideas?

Ga-7n400 pro
512 MB kingston hyperx 400
radeon 9700 pro
athlon xp 2600
2-western digital 80gb 8mb buffer HD's
nvidia sound
enermax 465w power

Like I said in the other thread, I had to manually set my MAC address in the BIOS. I used the getmac command to figure out what the MAC should be and then I plugged that into the BIOS in the Integrated Peripherals menu after using CTRL-F1.

I Have actually tried that, but it keeps telling me it is an invalid Mac address
