Bios Access
Hi All,
I recently upgraded my game card and I need to check the BIOS to see if the AGP "Port?" is set for 128 vs 64 MB... Does this make any sense? I know I have to be careful messing around with the bios but I don't know how to access it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Lawman |

1. Try holding delete as you turn on the computer.
2. Try tapping delete repedily as you turn on the computer. 3. Try holding F1 as you turn on the computer. 4. Try repedidly tapping F1 as your computer starts up. I have never seen a current system that couldn't access though one of those 4 methods. If you can't access the bios through one of them its time to upgrade your mobo. |

OK.... Finally got in..... Looks pretty simple but all I see that is close is a choice (in the Graphics section of the bios) is a choice of AGP Aperture (64 or 256) . Currently it is set on 64. I'm not sure what aperture (on a computer means).... Do I leave it alone?
I was expecting a choice (in MB) regarding memory.... ???? Lawman |
