Need Asus A7N8X Deluxe nForce2 drivers

Hi

My system keeps blue screening in game. I thought this was due to my FSB being set to 225, but i heard that the NVIDIA NForce drivers are a little different to that of thoise at ASUS website. The ASUS website has a much lower driver version even though they say it is higher than that of NVIDIA

Any ideas what i should do? There is a 6mth gap between the ASUS and NVIDIA driver set for the NForce chipset.

Download the drivers from the Asus site, and then download the drivers from Nvidia's site but do NOT install the IDE drivers.

Hey thanks for the reply, but i dont know what you mean. I am using the ASUS Nforce drivers - do ineed other stuff

What do you mean by "other stuff"...the Nvidia drivers has some updates for your gart, and sound too which the sound being the most important of these if your using the onboard sound.

O right. But who do i select which componats to install from the NVIDIA Nforce driver set? It just installs the lot when I execute it.

Be careful about using the Nforce sound drivers on your Asus board. Asus varied from spec and modified the sound driver..thats why their implementation of SoundStorm isn't certified. You may encounter problems, I did when I had that board and tried using reg Nvidia drivers.
