Now its time for number 3

My dad just killed my 2nd NF7-S rev 2 board, just like he did my last one. Now I'm getting a 3rd one.

This newest board is rather interesting because newegg has a "new" NF7-S board that always has the ultra 400 chip on it, it also has ALOT more capacitators. Might this be a rev 2.1?

My new board I'm getting

My old one

Acctually on closer inspection it doesn't look like it has more, they just seem rearanged.

Nah, it defiantly has more, also alot of them are alot bigger too. This is getting me really excited!

sry - I meant 3dmark - both 01se and 03 say the same thing in the readout - both say "2.X"

It looks like it has at least one more Cap. on there- The one by the Northbridge chip is now over by the other ones, plus one more..

I just bought an NF7 last month- and got the redish one.. I wish they didn't go back to the puky brown color.

Hey, didn't you just mod your FSB fan? How dod your dad kill 2 mobo's??? What did he do? Come in your room and OC when you weren't looking? Spill water on it?

Well I certainly don't hope that this is the new rev, because the mounting holes around the socket are gone, not that this is such a big thing, because that big ass Zalman cooler still won't fit, but the mounting holes were part of the rev 2.0 thing.

Well it was more by accident I found it, because I really wanted to have that silent Zalman cooler, so I was hoping that it would fit on this rev, but surprise surprise no mounting holes around the socket anymore
